The earth is characterised by many temporal rhythms: the seasons, day and night or even ebb and flow, which are shaped by the phases of the moon. Adapting to such temporal rhythms can be vital for plants and animals. One of the most important influencing factors is the alternation of day and night. One revolution of the earth takes 24 hours. However, there are other rhythms that can be existential for nature and for our lives: During the course of the year, for example, it is not only light and day length that play a role, but also temperature. It regulates the metabolism of organisms and adjusts it to the respective season. In this way, the rhythm of nature has a decisive influence on all our lives. We rely on natural cultivation and manual labour to produce first-class grapes. Only the right combination of soil, grape variety and location guarantees wines of impressive quality.
