Description

Built in 1904, the manor house inimitably characterises our winery. Where perfectionism played a major role in the construction of the building back then, it still reflects our entire philosophy today. From the care of our farm to the creation of our wines.’ ‘Minerality and depth characterise our vineyards around Maikammer, St. Martin, Haardt and Gimmeldingen. The diversity of the soils is also outstanding. Limestone marl, sandstone and red earth are just a few of the types of soil that give our wines their extraordinary individuality and elegance. It is the origin that gives our wines their personality. The narrower the origin of a vineyard can be ‘narrowed down’, the higher the quality of the wine. We have a clear vision right from the start and stick to it single-mindedly from pruning to bottling - uncompromising, natural and perfectionist
