Description

The French town hall, built in 1691, was destroyed along with the whole neighbourhood when a nearby armoury exploded. The new town hall was built in 1827 as the commandant's office of the Bavarian military administration in the classicist style. Inside the town hall are the tourist office, the citizens' office and registry office of the city of Landau.
