With appropriate humility, enriched with a lot of experience, diligence and feeling, extraordinary wines with the clear signature of the winemaker are created at the Porzelt winery: classics such as Rieslings, Portugieser, Dornfelder, Silvaner, the Burgundy varieties, but also specialties such as Schwarzrieslings, Chardonnay and Merlot.

The secret of the wine is difficult to put into words - tasting is better than studying. With one of the oldest vaulted cellars in the Palatinate, an exclusive ambience is available for this at the Porzelt winery: Vinothek 1786, originally built well over 200 years ago for storage purposes as an above-ground sandstone vault.

We don't know whether the wine experts from Gault Milau, Eichelmann and Vinum have been on site - in any case, they all gave three stars or three grapes for wines from the Porzelt Pfalz winery.

And to ensure that customer and critic tastes are met in the future, the Porzelt winery has opted for sustainable cultivation in accordance with the strict guidelines of the Bioland seal and gives something back to nature for being so kind to the people of the Palatinate.
