Weingut Mathis

-Our vineyards are located in the Klingenmünsterer Maria Magdalena and Heuchelheimer Herrenpfadt sites. We cultivate about 14 hectares of vineyards, most of which are planted with Riesling, Silvaner, Scheurebe, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. But also exotics like Muskateller, Gewürtraminer and Syrah feel, in the Mediterranean climate with us, in good hands.

Our wines are characterized by a variety of soil types, such as red sandstone, quartz sand, pebbles and clay marl. Due to these natural conditions our wines present themselves from light and fruity, to playful and elegant, to powerful and international.

In the future, we will remain true to our motto "Palatinate Handmade", but we also always dare to take new, unfamiliar paths.
