For us, wine is not just a product, but a passion. Our focus is on dry wines. The white wines should still be fruity and the red wines we like to develop in barrique. If we have to, we sometimes get up at night in the fall to take care of our "protégés" in the cellar. We cultivate 12 hectares of vines, which are distributed around Hainfeld and thus have different soil structures such as limestone marl, red sandstone, slate, loess-loam... - soils that you can taste! For 30 years now, master winemaker Ralf Hundemer has been running the winery. Since 2020, Fabio has also joined his parents' business. He completed his apprenticeship at the Möwes, Nauerth-Gnägy and Knipser wineries in 2016 and graduated as a viticulture technician at the LVWO in Weinsberg in the summer of 2019. During his three-month internships in South Africa in 2018 and 2020, he was able to gather many ideas and new suggestions. This year, he started his first experimental cultivation with the Chenin Blanc grape variety. If you visit the winery for wine tasting, you will usually meet Angela Hundemer, who takes care of wine sales and customer service, among other things. Julia graduated from Heilbronn University in 2019 with a degree in wine business administration and currently works for an online wine retailer in Munich. But it is clear to her that she would like to return to her parents' business at some point.
