On now 10ha, we mainly grow Burgundy varieties, Riesling and Gewürztraminer - and thus remain true to the traditional roots of the region. More than half of our plots are located on French territory, which is typical for Schweigen and its winemakers. Following the principle "wine is made in the vineyard," we take an equally gentle and intensive approach to outdoor cultivation when it comes to tilling the soil or tending the vines. This is clearly more labor-intensive, but we are rewarded by very healthy grapes.
