The Naturfreundehaus Kiesbuckel is located below the Orensfelsen, directly on the "Pfälzer Hüttentour" hiking trail.
The hut offers hikers a dry place to rest and recharge their batteries. For fresh air freaks, the large outdoor area offers plenty of seating in the sun or shade. If you can get a seat on the terrace, you can enjoy the panoramic view over the Geilweilerhof and the Rhine plain. Children who still have energy after the hike can let off steam in the playground.
The menu includes typical hut specialities such as vegetable soup with Wienerle. At the weekend, you can also stay overnight in the Naturfreundehaus Kiesbuckel - an extraordinary Palatinate Forest experience for young and old.
