The former state-owned Samenklenge has been carefully renovated and rededicated as the House of Forestry and Forest History. Since 2006, the house has been owned by the municipality of Elmstein. An important, and in the overall context indispensable part of the museum exhibition is the original function of the building. Visitors can see the individual pieces of equipment and building parts of the Samenklenge. From the initial to the final product, the step-by-step extraction of the precious seeds is shown.
