The Martinsmarkt
The Giwick (lapwing), Erpolzheim's mascot, invites all young and old to take a walk around the Martinsmarkt. Erpolzheim lies on the course of the Isenach stream between the Rhine plain and the Haardt. It is one of 8 local communities in the Freinsheim holiday region and is already known for its culinary wine, asparagus and fruit walking days and its Weinkerwe. This colourful cultural festival offers many activities and attractions. More than 20 farms present more than 80 artists and craftsmen, whose performances are offered in covered rooms. Fruit and wine presentations as well as home-made specialities are a well-known matter of course for the people of Erpolzheim. Musicians parade from courtyard to courtyard and hot chestnuts warm cold hands on Saturday and Sunday, both from 10 am to 8 pm.
