22nd German-French Farmers' Market in Hinterweidenthal
Starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, 19 September 2021, the 22nd German-French Farmers' Market will take place on Hinterweidenthal's Dorfplatz.
Following very good feedback on the previous farmers' markets, producers from the whole Palatinate region and the neighbouring Alsace will sell their goods and provide information about their organic production and processing.
The market participants sell their goods produced in an environmentally friendly way, including ham, sausage, beef, cheese, mushrooms, juice, organic beer, wine, sparkling wine, brandies and liqueurs, oils, honey, jam, smoked trout, bread, cakes, vegetables, fruit, pumpkins and herbal pillows, as well as handicraft products such as sandstone sculptures, brushes and brooms, natural soaps, garden furniture made of local wood and decorations made of hay.
The aim of this farmers' market is to strengthen the role of agriculture in the region and to make consumers aware that buying environmentally friendly products from a largely intact environment is worthwhile.
More information will follow.
