We aim to work in harmony with nature since nature determines and forms our pace of work throughout the year. Our greatest challenge in the vinyard is to bring out the potential and the peculiarities of each parcel of land. The choice of the right grape variety is crucial for this process . We pay particular attention to breaking new ground between tradition and innovation: In 2011, we "got back to our roots" and returned tothe way our senior chef Heinz Bergdolt-Reif started. Thus, we work some of our best vineyards exclusively with horse power. This ensures an increase in soil quality and thus more quality in grapes and consequently more character in the wine.
