Our Kastanienberg winery is run by Werner, Andrea and Annika Koch. For generations our family has been cultivating vineyards around the beautiful wine village of Hainfeld. The wine, the vineyards and sharing the pleasure of wine with dear people is pure joy of life for us. Day after day we want to produce wines full of character and sustainability, which give people pleasure later. Through organic farming and our passion for winemaking, we aim to achieve this. Due to the mild climate and the different soils in the Southern Palatinate, it is possible for us to cultivate a wide range of grape varieties. The different qualities and the exact origin of our wines are reflected in our quality pyramid with basic wines, estate wines, terroir wines and site wines.
