We have been working in a controlled environmentally friendly manner since the early 1990s. In 2009 began our official transition to organic viticulture in accordance with the EU Organic Regulation and we are now an organically certified winery. Striving for quality has been a decisive motivation at Klostergut St. Lamprecht ever since the family winery was founded in 1754. This is shown by our membership in thethe VDP. Federal Association,to which we have been a member since 1993. We are known for our Pinot Blanc wines, but also the Rieslings and Pinot Noirs enjoy a high reputation and show numerous successes. As a VDP quality winery, we are careful to mainly cultivate the traditional grape varieties of the Palatinate, such as Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Noir. We do also cultivate other varieties on a small scale with great passion. In the case of white wines (Auxerrois, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc and Silvaner). The red wines Merlot, St.Laurent and Cabernet also thrive thanks to the mild Palatinate climate and ideal soil conditions.
