The Heinz Pfaffmann organic winery from Walsheim in the Palatinate region of Germany stands for a passion for organic wine growing and a well-founded background of knowledge spanning no less than 400 years. The family-run business focuses on a sustainable combination of tradition and modernity: a wealth of experience built up over many years meets innovative cultivation and production methods. The sustainable approach is continuously pursued with great consistency at our winery: For example, the entire cultivation area of the Bioland-certified winery is uncompromisingly free of herbicide substitutes. In addition, no animal products are used during processing. As a result, all wine production processes at Heinz Pfaffmann have been completely organic and vegan since 2016. The commitment to organic viticulture is based on a deep connection to the region - the Palatinate has been the Pfaffmann family's home since the estate was founded in 1616.
