On the approximately 2.5 km long circular trail you will rediscover wine and the Bible. Immerse yourself in the bible's world of ideas about vines and wine. At 12 stations you will walk through pictures and texts for reflection and enjoyment. Integrated into the magnificent Palatinate region, the Biblical Wine Trail leads along easily accessible, level paths, which are also easy to master for people with a handicap.

Column 9 Wine and Love

"He led me into the wine house. His sign above me is love." "Grapes on the vine are my breasts, the scent of apples is the fragrance of your breath, your mouth delicious wine, which goes down smooth in me, which nets my lips and teeth... Your womb is a round basin, spiced wine is not lacking." The Song of Songs is a wonderful love poem. In it, wine becomes a symbol of love between man and woman, between God and man. No wonder. Wine, like love, puts people in high spirits, dissolves boundaries between them, makes them happy and drunk. Hence the word "drunk with love".
