Stone of balance - Lambrecht (Pfalz)
How much effort, patience and sensitivity was needed to raise this stone so that it could keep its balance! How much effort and patience does a human being spend in the first months of his life to free himself from the heaviness of the earth and to be able to hold himself in balance between gravity and lightness, between down and up, right and left, back and front? Achieving balance means the greatest happiness of man: Just as in a work of art the opposites cancel each other out, so in a state of balance man is in harmony with himself and the cosmos, physically, mentally and spiritually.
As long as we do not calmly endure life's happiness and adversity, we will not grasp the world.
Without loving, without hating, we must ask for the meaning of suffering as well as lust, only then will God be able to tell us his word, only then will the deception of meaning fade into appearance.
