Bad Dürkheim

The town museum invites visitors on a discovery tour through the varied and exciting history of the spa town. In addition to a few purchases and permanent loans, the museum collection is mainly made up of donations from families in Bad Dürkheim and is largely the property of the museum society.
In 1872, the museum society was founded as the "Alterthumsverein für den Kanton Dürkheim". It was the first local antiquities society in the Palatinate. Since that time, the society has collected important cultural assets from the town and the region.

The Stadtmuseum Bad Dürkheim strives for accessibility in all areas. All exhibition rooms are barrier-free for visitors with limited mobility; rollators can be borrowed. Disabled parking spaces are available 200 metres away on the town square.
