The former rectory with vicarage in Walsheim was built in 1793 as a baroque crippled hipped roof building with hipped roof barn. In just over 1.5 years, the building was renovated, rebuilt and inaugurated as a town hall in September 2007. A library and a youth room are also housed in the building.
