The picnic area is located out of town. It is public and can be used at any time.

The picnic area is located on the following hiking trails: Pfälzer Weinsteig, Weg der Aussichten, Kapellen-Pilgerweg, Dornröschen Rundwanderweg, Gebrüder Grimm Märchenweg.

Our tips for picnicking:

Remember to keep your distance from others even when outside. You are welcome to bring a picnic blanket to move around if your chosen picnic bench is still occupied. Please pack up trash after the picnic, as we want to preserve the beautiful outdoors for everyone! Please note that grilling and campfires are not allowed at the picnic areas.
