Laubscher Cemetery

The small family cemetery was established by the Laubscher family in 1748. It is part of the Morschbacherhof (5 dwelling houses with associated barns and stables), which was only habitable again after the 30 Years War (1618 - 1648). In February 1682, the settler Hans Laubscher received the farm as a hereditary lease. The eldest son Abraham succeeded his father Hans, who died in 1699. The Morschbacherhof has remained in the family ever since. The small cemetery is the oldest forest cemetery in Rhineland-Palatinate.
