On the site of today's Paulin Castle there was already an oratory in the 13th century. The Weissenburg Benedictine monastery had the Paulin Castle built as an upstream fortification. It was severely damaged by fires in 1470 and 1525 - only the keep was preserved. Since 1794 it has been privately owned. Napoléon Rosey finally built the residence at the end of the 19th century. The castle complex itself cannot be visited, but from the vineyards in front of it you can enjoy a beautiful view of the keep.
