Natur- und Freischwimmbad Weidenthal

Today, the bathing pond has a separate children's pool, a non-swimmers' area and a swimmers' pool with safe entry and exit. The Weidenthaler Weiher offers space for about 500 to 1000 people, but on nice days a maximum of 200 come, leaving plenty of space on the sunbathing lawn, where many old trees provide shade. There is also plenty of free space in the water: it is still a good place to play water polo, splash around with an air mattress or swim a few laps.

The people here know each other personally, most of them have been coming here again and again for many years. They enjoy the kiosk with its reasonable prices, the small mini-golf course, the well-maintained sanitary facilities and the always fresh water from the constantly bubbling spring.
