Nature and fun for young and old alike is guaranteed in the 700,000 m2 Kurpfalzpark, located between Wachenheim and Lambrecht, from the beginning of April to the beginning of November. There, you can experience the native animal world up close, which ranges from wild boar to lynx, from moufflon to fallow deer. The main attraction is the wolf enclosure, where visitors to the park are given an exciting introduction to the world of the almost extinct predators during feeding time. You can encounter predators of the sky in the summer when the falconer puts on an impressive demonstration showcasing the abilities of his feathered friends in a free flight show with birds of prey and gets the audience involved. In addition, the Kurpfalzpark offers an extensive entertainment area with rides and playgrounds, as well as food stalls, barbecue areas and the restaurant Forsthaus Rotsteig, where you can indulge your senses and relax. Three large car parks are available for those arriving by car.
