Monastery of Esthal - former congregation of the Niederbronner Schwestern
In 1849, Elisabeth Eppinger, Mother Alfons Maria, founded our religious community, the "Sisters of the Divine Redeemer (Niederbronner Schwestern)" in Bad Niederbronn/Elsass. From the beginning, their concern was above all for the poor, the sick and the disadvantaged. Through their devotion to those who need their help, God's merciful love is to be experienced. "Niederbronner Schwestern" live and work today in Europe, Africa, India and South America.
Our convent is a spiritual place, and we Sisters are happy to share our life with you. Whether you would like to take part in prayer and Eucharistic celebrations, arrange a guided tour of the convent or a talk, need guidance on how to make a rosary or just a time of reflection or a place to meditate. We are happy to be there for you.
If you would like to use the monastery church for a concert or reading, just contact us.
