Little Venice

The year 1999 was a special one for the municipality of Böchingen. The Hainbach was renaturalized within the village and in this context also a village renewal was carried out. The Hainbach, which previously ran in concrete gutters, was built over with bridges and footbridges to create safe footpaths from the village centre to the kindergarten and leisure facility away from the busy roads. In the vernacular, it has become "Little Venice".
