Description

The family business in the Southern Palatinate, which is exceptional in many respects, was founded in 1978. The greenhouse spread over 3,300 m², originally designed for wholesale purposes, was opened in 1982. Over time, however, Kakteenland has evolved to become one of the most popular excursion destinations along the Southern Wine Route. In this context, a spectacular glass house was added in 1996, extending the area to 7,000 m². Today, more than 100,000 guests stroll through the wide corridors of Kakteenland Steinfeld every year to experience a special kind of attraction. Beneath the vast glass architecture, an attractive range of products awaits visitors and most of these are produced in-house. There are over 1,000 different types of cactus and 600 other succulent plants to admire. With more than one million specimens, the spectrum ranges from aficionado specialities to show plants. In short: Kakteenland Steinfeld offers nature, variety and exclusivity and all this at fair prices with free admission!
