South of Leimen/Pfalz, on a wild and romantic mountain path to the Kippkopf, mighty rock formations made of red sandstone, which climbers like to use. Dark iron oxide weathering and fossil inclusions such as ammonites can also be found on the light rock. A little further on, from a rock plateau above the Geißenschlupf, you have a fantastic view and also find a cozy resting place.
The best way to get to the rocks is from the parking lot on the L496 in the curve before Leimen/Pfalz. This is easily recognizable by the oversized bench with the label Leimen and the coat of arms of the community.
