Edenkoben

Wine, forest and culture is the motto of life in the town of Edenkoben. The state-recognized climatic health resort - one of the largest wine-growing communities in Germany - offers as much variety to the wine traveler as to the culture-interested with its many sights, such as Villa Ludwigshöhe Castle, the retro-style Rietburgbahn, the peace monument, the pretty town center with gastronomy and stores, and since 2016 a new Alla-hopp leisure complex. Villa Musica concerts, the artists' house of the country, galleries and museums enrich the social life in the city, in addition to the many wine festivals and events. There is almost always a party here. If you are looking for peace and quiet from time to time, you will find beautiful hiking trails between the vineyards and the Palatinate Forest.
