Bad Dürkheim's white gold originated a long time ago from the Palatinate's primordial seas.
The Celts, the abbots of Limburg and the Electoral Palatines used the salt springs and promoted the development of Dürkheim into a spa town with the construction of the Gradierbau. Hear the exciting story on a tour of the graduation building and boil your own salt in a large boiling pan.
This is accompanied by Dürkheim wine and, if you like, a Winzervesper. The price includes admission to the Gradierbau, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and a sample of self-boiled salt. A vintner's snack with regional specialities can be booked as an option.
