The new Herzog

More than 6 years ago, master confectioner Jürgen Meßler and his wife Eva Orth decided to move from Neustadt to Bad Bergzabern to take over the renowned Café Herzog. In the comfortably furnished café, an old tiled stove provides cozy warmth while you taste the various specialties of the house. There are, for example, the various hot chocolates with spices or fiery with chili. To go with it, you could nibble a wonderfully chocolatey Sacher cake, or one of the artful tartlets with a French touch. If you prefer coffee, you can get a wholesome but strong coffee from fair trade and organic label.
