Neudahn castle ruin/D
The image of Neudahn Castle is dominated by its looming double battery tower dating from the 16th century. The castle complex itself was built as early as the first half of the 13th century. Despite many destructions the castle was reconstructed and adapted to contemporary military requirements many times, particularly in the first half of the 16th century. Another peculiarity of this castle is its isolated cuneiform bastion situated in front of the main complex.
