Description

Römerplatz with Fountain: This town square surrounded by attractive facades represents the site where Bad Dürkheim was first founded. The name is derived from the town hall (Römer) built in 1495 in the middle of the square. This is symbolised today by the fountain, made out of bronze and sandstone and the coat of arms of Bad Dürkheim and its surrounding villages. More details available under town tours.
