Description

The first part of the 5 km long circular trail leads away from Kirrrweiler towards Edenkoben through the surrounding vineyards. Later the trail leads back to the starting point via the village centre. On a total of 10 stations the ascent of Blücher and the victorious battle of the Prussian troops over the enemy France on May 28th, 1794 are described. Interesting historical information about the wine and holiday resort Kirrweiler, which served as a summer residence for the prince-bishops of Speyer between 1280 and 1793, completes the descriptions. At the individual stations, audio texts for our guests can also be called up in English via QR code.

The Blücher-Rundweg has been tested for accessibility by Reisen für Alle. You can find the short report on this under Service & Links on the Kirrweiler homepage (www.kirrweiler.de) or also in Outdooractive.
