1870 - Ihr Gasthaus

On April 13, 1870, Bergzabern station opened on the route of the Palatine Maximillian Railway / spa line between Winden and Bergzabern. As a terminus station, it became both the start and destination for goods and passenger traffic to our beautiful Southern Palatinate and quickly gained importance for business and tourism. The listed building is located directly on the German Wine Route in Bad Bergzabern surrounded by vines and the Palatinate Forest. 150 years later we open the 1870-Your Inn for you with a crossover cuisine, inspired by fusion food but still down to earth. Clear plates, not a lot of frills, keeping the tried and true charm while setting new impulses . We work with regional products and deal responsibly with food and packaging.
