Industriegeschichte von Maikammer

In the period from 1868 to 1928, the Ullrich enameling works achieved world fame. The factory, located in Maikammer, brought considerable upheaval to a Catholic community that had until then been dominated by agriculture and handicrafts. The industrial history is associated with the family name Ullrich, the folding meter and the enameling works. In addition to their headquarters in Maikammer, branch plants were established in Kirrweiler and Schifferstadt. Sales branches existed throughout Europe, including Paris.
