The property is only partially enclosed by monastery walls, the vineyards contained therein (site Klostergarten Heilsbruck) belong to one of the oldest and most exclusive single vineyards in the region. In former times the monastery was a Cistercian abbey. Gravestones from the time of the monastery's founding indicate that you are on historical ground here. The oldest part of the monastery complex includes today's wine cellars, because even the first church built was unusually founded on a cellar complex with a cruciform ground plan.
