Of course, you can just relax in this sunny Wasgau village and enjoy nature. But also a walk through the village with its half-timbered houses is worth doing. Around the village you find a lot of chestnut trees, on the "Pälzer Keschdeweg" you can go to Lug and Hauenstein or to Annweiler am Trifels and Albersweiler.
Hiking, mountain biking on extensive forest paths and trails are only a part of the offer. A special tip for friends of hiking: the Geiersteine Tour. For the casual cyclist there is an extensive network of cycle paths. The red sandstone rocks of the area are a worthwhile destination not only for the climbers. From Geiersteine there is a fantastic view over the Palatinate Forest.
In Wernersberg people like to celebrate, starting on the 2nd weekend in May with the Kuckuckskerwe. Guests are always invited to join.
