Description

The Slevogtfels, also called Föhrlenbergfels, is located on the west side of the Föhrlenberg. It offers a wide panoramic view of the Imperial Castle Trifels, as well as the ruins of Anebos and Münz. The view is very popular as a photo motif, especially at sunset.

But also the impressionist Max Slevogt, who lived and worked here in Leinsweiler on the Slevogthof, often came here to enjoy the peace and the view. In his honor, the rock today also bears the name Slevogtfels.
