Detached house in a quiet location on the outskirts of the wine-growing village of Weyher in the Palatinate - situated directly on the Palatinate Forest at an altitude of 310 metres. Enjoy the distant view over the sea of vines of the southern wine route, over the wine-growing villages of Weyher, Rhodt unter Rietburg and Edenkoben, with good visibility as far as Ludwigshafen/Mannheim and the Odenwald, while savouring a delicious glass of Palatinate wine. The "Pfälzer Wald Weyher holiday home" is located on the ground floor of the 1970s house and can accommodate up to 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children (3 bedrooms). On the top floor is the "Holiday flat Fernblick Pfalz (with sauna)" for 2-4 people (1 bedroom + sofa bed), which is accessible via a separate entrance from the street. From the holiday property you have direct access to various hiking trails (including the Pfälzer Weinsteig, Mandelpfad and Keschdeweg) and cycle paths (including the Panaromarunde of the German Wine Route cycle path). In the winegrowing village of Weyher and the neighbouring villages there are many winegrowers for wine tasting, wine taverns, wine bars and restaurants. Villa Ludwigshöhe with the Rietburg chairlift is just a few hundred metres away. Excursion destinations include the romantic wine-growing villages of the Southern Wine Route, the Palatinate Forest for hut tours and hikes, Hambach Castle, Trifels Castle and the towns of Landau and Neustadt an der Weinstraße as well as the Dahner Felsenland.
One car park is available for each rental unit. Additional free parking spaces are available at the north end of the street. Both holiday properties are powered by 100% green electricity.
Check-in takes place via a key box. You will receive the code by email a few days before arrival. Arrival is possible from 4 pm, departure until 10 am. Arrival description: Coming from Rhodt unter Rietburg via Weyherer Straße, turn off the "Hauptstraße" (L506) in Weyher into Oberdorf Straße and follow it to the forest. Before the forest, turn sharp left into Vogelsang. You will reach your destination after approx. 100 metres. If you are using a satnav, please make sure you use the northern access road to Vogelsang as described above, as the southern access road is difficult to drive on (steep, narrow and badly paved) and access via Theresienstraße from Rhodt is also difficult, at least in the dark, via a kind of forest path.
The daily prices do not include final cleaning. Towels, bed linen and electricity costs are included.
